I am absolutely mortified at the moment because the letters are being worn off my keyboard. At school typing was not one of my favorite subjects and I was continually having a piece of cardboard placed over my typewriter so I couldn’t see the keys. I was and still am basically, a one handed typist. Anyway when computers hit the scene I was too scared to even try as I had no idea what to do, (still learning as we speak).I got a little confidence and decided to buy a Laser VOIP keyboard. I thought it was so cool not even my kids knew how to use it properly (I finally got one up on them). Not only did the keyboard and mouse feel nice to use but the built in speakers and microphone are great as well.Shock, and Horror set in yesterday when I noticed my letters A S E T N C are all wearing off. Of course I will contact the manufacturer as I only bought it 4 months ago. It is now taking me twice as long to write anything as I have to look down and check I am using the right letters. If they will not do anything does anyone have any ideas of what white liquid I could use to write the letters back on? I cannot afford to buy another keyboard and I need to use my computer each day for my voluntary work I do for a couple of organizations. I am thinking maybe liquid paper but it comes out too thick with both the brush type and pen type. This is a disaster for me as I have to proof read everything I write again at the end. The spell check does come up but once again it is too time consuming. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Don’t know about you but I nearly wet my pants laughing last night during the news. Everything was so sombre, road deaths, Iraq war, earthquake in Indonesia them on comes our ex Prime Minister Paul Keating. He was talking about the Rudd and Bourke saga his feelings on our PM “that little desicrated coconut”. I’ve heard Howard has a few nicknames but I thought Paul Keatings was an absolute gem.

Unfortunately some people, myself included have been accused of self promoting and spamming ads’.I recently posted quite a few ads’ looking for a cricket coach and also letting people know about a local bingo game that is helping to fund the club. As a sports volunteer for more than 30 years and trying a new avenue(nooK) to promote the club I find it highly offensivethat people would critisise my efforts in recruitment. At some stage in your life your parents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews cousins etc will have been involved in playing sport or even on a higher level as a volunteer administator. Believe me it is not an easy task as someone is always passing the buck, no-one wants to do anything to help and others just turn a blind eye. Being involved in both cricket and basketball I have been able to achieve something in my life I am proud of. Getting kids off the street and into a sporting club. Better that than hanging around in gangs and local hangouts. So before you critisise others take a look in the mirror and then ask yourself “What can I do do to help my community?”
