What is rss feed and what does it do
Published 1 year, 8 months ago in My life.If you are going to leave silly comments please don’t bother. I am,as some of you know new at this. Can you tell me what rss feed is for?, how do you use it ?, what purpose it serves etc. Thanks for your time in helping me.

RSS= Really simple syndication.
What it can do for you ?
You can use RSS feeds to collect news and posts fromany site that supports it into a single page for easy viewing without having to visit all the different sites.
For example , if i wanted to see all of your posts without having to navigate through nook , I can click on the orange lit up RSS symbol in the right corner of INTERNET EXPLORER 7 , and add your RSS feed ,
there are also sites like www.bloglines.com that do this all in a friendly format , that way i get news from all over the WORLD WIDE WEB in one click….

Ackbar how do you add friends to your nook ? I’m not sure about that either but you explained it above quite easily for me to understand. Thanks
FIRST go to the main page for the friends nook you want to add. highlight the WEB address in your browser and copy it( control C)
then
Click on “my dashboard link on the right hand side of the page ,
once at your dashboard page , find ADD FRIEND in the left column.
click on that .
Then click the cursor in the address area and hit paste (control V)
then fill in the other two fields and hit add
bingo.
