Campbellfield Cricket Club are seeking players for the 2007/08 season. If you love the game, want to have some fun or want to play in a more serious grade we can cater for you. We have 2 senior mens teams, the first eleven playing in the Luscombe Shield Grade (the highest grade) in the North West Cricket Association and another in a lower grade. Next season we will be aiming for a 3rd senior mens team. My 12& 1/2  year old son in his first year at high school has found with his friends a place called rugrats. Friday nights has become a nightmare. It costs $10 to go along and he seems to love it so much he hounds me every Friday night to go. One of his friends’ dad takes him and 3 others, leaving at 6.30pm and getting home around 10pm. I’m not really sure what goes on there even though I have asked alot of questions. I know it has alot of games and “rides” and is for under 18’s only. I trust the father who takes the kids but am wondering if anyone else knows more about what goes on there or if your child has been there.I am unable to go along to see for myself so any opinions would be great. Thanks.

Unfortunately today is a very sad day for music in general with the passing of a rock legend. I deperately wanted to go to the Long way to the top and Countdown concerts just to watch him perform, sadly we could not afford it.I guess I will spend the next few days playing his records and CD’s. It is always sad when a legend dies but how many people like me think that they the will be with us forever and when tradgedy strikes you race straight to your music collection and play their songs?

I don’t sleep well at night and am up all hours. I have taken to watching this saga and can’t beleive the hype. No matter who she was or what she did she was still a mother first and foremost. I could not believe the trial over her buriel. That judge was definately over the top and was so dramatic I tend to agree that he wants his own ‘Judge Judy” type show.Even though allot of people might find watching this boring I find it intriguing how the American people react to this. Just listening and watching it all is like watching a day time soap opera.What do you think?

After a few responses to my post regarding a suggestion of other catergories on the NOOK site, a few people replied that the my life catergory is the one they use for a catergory. I suggested (other). Do you think that questions asked by us that do not fit into any of the catergories listed should be posted in (my life) or NOOK should have a catergory (other)? I sometimes find it hard, where do I put a question or post as I’m not sure what catergory to put it as it is not relevent to any of the catergories listed.?

Hi all, I asked this question in local services and received 10 replies so I thought I’d post it in another catergory. How many people would like to see their recycle rubbish bin emptied on a weekly basis instead of fortnightly? All the responses so far agree that it should be weekly as to recycle properly you need more room in the bin. If we can get enough people to write in then as a community we might be able to get the bins emptied weekly. I know I am sick of doing the right thing for the first week then the bin is so full I have to use the normal rubbish bin or use the neighbours bins to get rid of the excess waste.Lets band together and get this off the ground. We are hounded to recycle and then critised for not doing it properly. How can we when there is no room left in the bin. Councils get elected to do a job and all houses have a rate payer so whether you live in your own home or rent makes no difference everyone pays rates. The councils need to lift their game and start doing a better job. They can start by fixing up the mess they have created when it comes to recycling.Do you agree?
